  • SALE – The Vektron is now on sale! Was £3500 now £2999

Ride it, Fold it, Go Further

The Vektron is a best-in-class electric bike that folds in 10 seconds to go on trains, in cars, and under desks. Shorten distances and flatten the hills on your commute, or put a couple of Vektrons in the trunk of your car on your next trip, so you can explore further.
The Tern Vektron Q9 in detail

    Best in Class

In test after test, the Vektron is called the best folding e-bike on the market. With an updated frame, upgraded Bosch motors, and a wide ecosystem of accessories to help you carry your stuff, the Vektron will easily turn a lot of your car trips into bike trips.

    Ready to Roll

Once you fold your Vektron, it’s easy to roll it around. The new frame design also lets you keep the bike in vertical position when folded, so stopping and going is easier than ever.

    Takes You Further

Take your Vektron on a train or bus to cover those extra-long commutes, or to complete the first and last leg of your commute faster. Ride to the station, hop on, hop off, and keep riding.

    One Size Fits Most

The Vektron has a low-step frame design and resizes in seconds—no tools required—to fit riders between 147 and 195 cm (4’10” – 6’5”), so you can share the bike with anyone in your family.

    Child seat compatible

School runs have never been more fun! The frame-integrated Atlas V Rack™ is designed to fit a Thule Yepp Maxi or a Dash® RM seat—no adapters needed.

    Built to Last

Our philosophy is to keep our bikes on the road for as long as possible, not to create disposable products that are built to fail. We start with intentional design choices that make the bike serviceable and safe—and end up with a reliable vehicle you can use day in, day out. Then, we back it up with great local service and a 10-year warranty for peace of mind.

    Test Ride One Today!

Specialized 2023 Turbo Levo Carbon. One of our brand new demo bikes.

The team here at Blazing hit the hills last month test riding the new Gen 3 Levos and we were blown away. We’ve two demo bikes available to hire out and put through their paces, just drop us an email to book. You also get the hire price refunded if you buy a Levo from us.

From  a non techy point of view, we loved how much like a normal bike it felt, how easy to pedal without power, and how little we felt like we needed to move into Turbo mode, if at all!

    Simply put –

    Turbo Levo
    4x You

    Range Up To: 5 Hours
    Assist To: 32 kph
    Weight: 21.3 kg

    And the details:

Adjustable geometry – mixed wheel ‘mullet’ set up – mastermind TCU display, the ‘brain’ of the bike – S-sizing to suit every rider – 565 watts of peak power, 90Nm torque

  • Making Things happen

The world is a mad place, but here is some inspiration for Wednesday… A while ago we met Simon Lord who asked us to supply bikes for a charity he was founder of. The charity is EMpowered people and we’re very proud to be supporting them.

“Disabled people throughout their lives have had to adapt and make changes to fulfil their personal objectives. EMpowered people will strive to help make achieving objectives happen by allowing them to prove that, although they have a disability, this does not preclude them from being part of society and when given the right tools and direction produce great results.” Simon Lord

    The EMpowered Bike Train Challenge

This Sunday is the Empowered Bike Train Challenge, starting in Todmorden at 9am. It’s part of the Graham Sherwood Trophy for outstanding performances for EMpowered people.

Four disabled cyclists and their support riders will take part in a ten hour, 100 mile challenge pushing their boundaries around the roads and lanes of the West Yorkshire Pennines.

The ride will start from Morrisons’ Car Park in Todmorden, heading south. From Littleborough they climb 2 ½ miles to the summit of Blackstone Edge crossing the Lancashire / Yorkshire border.

From the top of Blackstone Edge the riders then head towards Ripponden giving the teams a chance to get their breath back on the long downhill towards Baitings Dam.

The route then takes the riders into the Maze with testing climbs and steep downhill sections towards Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge. The route then heads towards Todmorden finishing back at Morrisons.

    A tough winter challenge

This is a tough and challenging cycle ride that will test the four brilliant EMpowered riders and their support riders to complete the 25 miles, with a total elevation climb of 2,200 ft route in under 2 ½ hours, at an average speed of ten miles per hour.
The route is extremely hard in good weather but in JANUARY!!

    The EMpowered teams are:-
    Bike Train 1.
Paul Suthers 60 (medical condition Myopic Macular degeneration) & Ian Wright
    Bike Train 2.
Paul Howell 41 (medical condition Spastic Paraplegia) & Neil Perry
    Bike Train 3.
David Wilson 67 (medical condition Motor Neuron Disease, Skin Cancer) & Helen Wilson
    Bike Train 4.
Simon Lord 64 (medical condition Secondary Multiple Sclerosis) & Andy Wright
