Stay at home shopping – 4 ways to click and collect

1. Blazing Saddles Shop

Ok, so this one’s technically Ring and Collect…:-) Use us to help you to source the things you need at this time – we’re here for you! At the shop, there’s a wide range of bikes, tools, parts, clothing  and accessories . Everything we sell can be purchased over the phone and collection can be arranged. Luckily, we are still able to order things we don’t stock from all our usual distributors. We are also offering free local delivery on orders over £50. Please just ask. You are supporting us as a small independent local business, and we are happy to be here to keep you all riding.

2. Madison Freewheel

Madison is the UK’s largest distributor of bicycle parts and accessories, and Freewheel is the new e-commerce website for Madison and Sportline.

What does that mean for our customers?

Shop with confidence. With over 70 famous cycling brands under one online roof, Freewheel gives you all the benefits of ordering online, especially during these difficult times, but backed and supported by Blazing Saddles, your local independent bike shop. The best of all worlds!

Just like any online shop, you can create an account or checkout as a guest. Simply select and pay, and choose us as your local store.

3. Specialized

You can now purchase products (including bikes) through Specialized’s online store and have your order delivered to your local bike shop through their Click and Collect programme. If a product is in stock, you just add it to your cart and choose us as your chosen delivery address.

Specialized also want you to be completely satisfied with your experience so should your item that you purchased through the online store fail to meet your expectations, they will gladly accept its return within 15 days of the purchase date. An exchange can also be made within 15 days for the exact item in either a different size or colour.

Bicycles returned must be in new/unused condition. Before going back to the Authorized Specialized Retailer where you collected the bicycle, please call Rider Care on 020 83913500 to obtain a full refund or exchange of your purchase, as well as the details of how to return your bicycle.

4. Brompton

1. Choose a Brompton: Choose one of the bikes Brompton has in stock at brompton.com and select us as your nearest store.
2. Shipped to Store: Your bike will be delivered to us in 3 working days.
3. Get notified: We will carry out our usual build/pre-collection inspection and then contact you to arrange a convenient collection time.
4. Collect and register: Collect your bike and register it with Brompton on their website. This is essential so we can track your bike warranty and inform you about available product upgrades.
5. Ride and enjoy: Commute, explore, escape and everything in-between.

Normal Brompton bike ordering is still available – you can custom build your own bike at brompton bike-builder, then order it at the shop. Use the bike build number generated when you save your design. If you need advice about which Brompton or just want it done for you (!), that’s what we’re here for! Just ring the shop and we will help you with every stage. Bikes ordered by the custom build system usually take between 4-8 weeks to be hand built. Ask about the time scale as soon as you order.

Finally, if you just want a Brompton NOW, we have stock bikes in the shop all year round. Ring the shop and arrange to have a look. They’re all 6 speed and in a range of our favourite colours. Test ride our Demo bike for free too.
